WE NEED A NEW WELL!

One of the requirements of our club's Major Use Permit, as issued by the County of San Diego, is we have a drinking water system.

With out the Major Use Permit, we can not operate a shooting range. As some of you are aware, we have been working on the problems with our current well for the last two years (low output and high nitrates). The time has come when we have no other option, we need to drill a new well.

We have to get this done or face fines and penalties.

We are asking club members and and other friends of South Bay Rod and Gun Club, Inc. to contribute what ever they can to help us with solving this problem.

I know this is a tough time for supporters of the second amendment here in California. The new ammo laws have affected everyone, including SBRGC.

The Club has already spent $15,000 on preliminary studies and water distribution upgrades in anticipation of the new well. We had hoped to be further along with putting money aside so we could pay for the well before we ran out of time with the county. The industry wide decrease in business has hampered those efforts.

That is why the Board of Directors has decided to reach out to you, Club Members and Public alike and ask for your help in raising the funds necessary to get this done before the deadline.
