This is a great match to shoot if you’ve been shooting the CMP matches and are looking to start shooting high power matches on a monthly basis. The positions are the same, just at a little longer distance. There are a lot of experienced shooters who help out and coach the newer shooters. While it is advisable to have sight settings for 200 and 300 yards prior to shooting match, we can provide assistance if necessary. Competitors will need at least 90 rounds to shoot this match. The 80 shot Regional Course Match is shot with the addition of 5 sighting shots at 200 yards and 5 sighting shots at 300 yards.

Rifles to be used in High Power Rifle competition must be equipped with metallic sights, should be capable of holding at least 5 rounds of ammunition and should be adapted to rapid reloading.

Awards will be given for grand aggregate match winner and individual matches (offhand, sitting, prone rapid, prone slow) per classification. Any classification with less than 3 shooters will be bumped up to the next classification for awards.
