Hours of operation: Sunday: 8 am. -2pm
5th Sunday trap range is reserved for the muzzle-loaders.
Fees and charges: $ 5.00 per round of trap (25 clay targets)
Features: The Trap range is a 16-yard American trap range, 16 yard to 27-yard handicap. The trap machine is electrically target launcher.
A hand loaded mechanical spring trap machine is also available however shooters must supply their own targets and shall be checked out by trap range RO’s prior to use.
Trap shooting clinics are provided fee of charge to club members from 0900-1100 am.
Guests and non- club members all daily range fees shall apply.
Trap shooting clinics participants shall provide their own 12-gage ammunition target loads shot size not to exceed 7 ½ - 8. (Reloads are OK.)
In the event that participants do not own a shotgun the club owns a Winchester shotgun and can be made available upon request however reservations a week in advance are mandatory by calling Frank Valdez @ (619) 250-0110.
As a free service to Club Members on duty RO’s will offer assistance and instruction in patterning of shotguns, (to learn as to where your shotgun is hitting), shooters will provide their on shotgun and ammunition.
