The South Bay Rod & Gun Club is a private non-profit corporation formed in 1955. Our Mission: The encouragement of recreational shooting by responsible persons, with the intent of fostering a better knowledge of firearms, their safe handling and care, as well as improved marksmanship. We shall develop the characteristics of honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, teamwork, and self-reliance, which are the essentials of good sportsmanship, good patriotism.
We have four shooting ranges. When open, they are supervised by at least one Range Safety Officer. Check the Calendar to verify which ranges are open on any specific day, also check the Urgent Messages for an unexpected range closure.

RANGE INFORMATION

Range Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Range may be closed during bad weather)

Main Range: 300 yard range with target frames at 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards.
Hours of operation: 8 AM to 4 PM
Days of operation: Daily,
Pistol Range: Any distance out to 50 Meters. Target lines at 50 feet & 25 yards
Hours of operation: 8 AM to 4 PM
Days of operation: Weekends and some weekdays,
100 Meter Range: Any distance out to 50 yards. Target lines at 50 feet & 25 yards. (During Construction)
Hours of operation: 8 AM to 4 PM
Days of operation: Weekends and some weekdays,
Shotgun Range / Trap Range
Hours of operation: 8 AM to 2 PM
Days of operation: Sundays open shooting and Clinic.

Facilities - There are shade covers over all firing lines except the Shotgun Range. The Main Range has a cold soda machine. The Main Range has running water bathrooms, other Ranges have plastic huts.
Fees - Members shoot free (first target free, 50 cents each for additional ones). Membership is $75 per annum. Day use for public is $20, $5 for youth under 18 years (must be accompanied by parent, please, no children under 11 years). Trap birds are $5 per round.
