Both Match Directors were not available for this match and SBR&GC’s Match Director for Long Range Pistol/Cowboy Silhouette Rifle that is held on the 1st Sunday of the month, Tim Morrow, volunteered to run the match. He did an excellent job and all enjoyed the match and we wish him a big “THANK YOU”. It is a lot of work and energy to run the match with just one person and all went smoothly and better yet safely. Again we thank him.

May, 2008 match of the Smallbore Silhouette Matches
Because of the 100 meter range construction project going on we were not able to hold an official match so we shot a "Fun Match" somewhat like a turkey shoot. We used some of the targets but could not position them at the correct distances thus our classification system would not work. We had a total of 23 entries made up of rimfire rifles and pistols. We did not collect any money, since it was just a fun shoot. All of the shooters were members so it turned out to be a Saturday shooting gathering at the gun club. We have hopes that the 100 meter range will be completed soon so that we will be able to hold our scheduled matches as well as the rest of the membership being able to utilize the range as well.
